About the “Kawaguchiko-kurashi” Project

I would like to give you a brief introduction to the “Kawaguchiko-kurashi” business that our company operates.

The “Kawaguchiko-kurashi” project began in 2021 when we formed the Lake Kawaguchi Farm Stay Promotion Council together with Ban Kazunori, president of “Tabi no Eki Kawaguchiko Base,” and Ide Yasunari, president of “Fuji Lake Hotel.” With the support of Satoyume Co., Ltd., the “Living at Lake Kawaguchi” project was adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as an initiative to enhance “accommodation, agriculture, and experiences.” Currently, our company (Wabunka-hassin-kenkyusya Co., Ltd.), which has been operating and managing the project as the secretariat, has taken over the project.

Since its founding, some of the initiatives it has undertaken include Sencha tea ceremony experiences, afternoon tea, and wedding production.

Incorporating Japanese culture into daily life, valuing tea time, and arranging your home while enjoying the collaboration of Japanese and Western styles. Hoping to convey the “Kawaguchiko-kurashi” of valuing daily life to the younger generation, we are focusing on developing “Kawaguchiko-kurashi” products for inbound tourists in Fujikawaguchiko Town, which is overflowing with inbound tourists, as well as “Kawaguchiko-kurashi” gift products for wedding gifts, and our sales at the “Tabi no Eki Kawaguchiko Life Space (Pop-up Store)” in Fujikawaguchiko Town have been well received.

We will continue to aim to increase awareness of our brand and expand our business further.

We appreciate your continued support.
